What are the dimensional inspection tools for copper bushings?

Dimensional inspection tools for copper bushings mainly include the following:

Vernier calipers:

Used to measure the outer diameter, inner diameter, thickness and length of the copper bushing. Vernier calipers have high accuracy and can usually measure up to 0.02mm.

Micrometer:

Used to more accurately measure the outer or inner diameter of copper bushings. OD micrometers measure the OD and ID micrometers measure the ID to an accuracy of 0.01mm or better.

I.D. Per centimeter (I.D. Micrometer):

Used to measure the internal diameter of copper bushings, especially suitable for measuring small internal diameters or where high accuracy is required. The I.D. Percentage Gauge achieves high accuracy by contacting the inner wall of the copper bushing with the measuring probe.

Ring Gauge and Plug Gauge:

Used to check the limit dimensions of the inner and outer diameters of copper bushings. Ring gauges are used for OD inspection and plug gauges are used for ID inspection, mainly for quick checking whether they are within the tolerance range.

Measuring block (plug gauge):

Used for checking the flatness and clearance of copper bushings, especially when precise control of the clearance between mating parts is required.

Projector:

Suitable for inspecting the shape, contour and size of copper bushings, the projector projects the shape of the bushings onto a screen for magnification, making it easy to inspect the details.

Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM):

Used to measure all geometric dimensions of copper bushings with high accuracy, including outer diameter, inner diameter, coaxiality, roundness and perpendicularity. CMM obtains dimensional data by probe contact or non-contact, with very high accuracy, suitable for comprehensive inspection of complex parts.

Optical measuring instrument:

Used for non-contact measurement of the outer diameter, inner diameter and other geometric parameters of copper bushings, suitable for thin-walled copper bushings or occasions where contact measurement is not appropriate.

Concentricity gauge:

Specifically designed to measure the concentricity of the inner and outer diameters of copper bushings to ensure that the bushings are assembled without eccentricity.

These tools can be used individually or in combination, depending on the measurement requirements and accuracy, to ensure that all dimensions of the copper bushing are in accordance with design and production standards.
