Crane copper bushing mainly has the following types:
Ordinary sliding copper bushing:
The material is usually tin bronze, aluminum bronze and other copper alloys. Has good wear resistance and friction reduction performance, suitable for low-speed, heavy-duty working conditions.
Simple structure, low cost. Generally installed in the shaft or hole through the interference fit, relying on the sliding friction between the copper sleeve and the shaft to achieve support and guidance.
For example, in the hoisting mechanism of some small cranes, the copper sleeve between the reel shaft and the support is mostly an ordinary sliding copper sleeve.
Self-lubricating sliding copper bushing:
Internal lubricant or self-lubricating materials. During the working process, the lubricant can be released continuously to reduce friction and wear, without the need to add additional lubricant.
Good adaptability, can be used in harsh working environments, such as dusty, humid and other environments.
For example, in some outdoor use of cranes, self-lubricating sliding copper bushing can reduce the maintenance workload and improve the reliability of the equipment.
Rolling copper bushing:
Composed of outer ring, inner ring and ball. The ball rolls between the inner and outer rings, transforming sliding friction into rolling friction, greatly reducing the coefficient of friction and improving efficiency and service life.
Stronger load-bearing capacity, suitable for high-speed, heavy-duty working conditions. However, the installation precision requirements are higher, and the cost is relatively high.
For example, in the slewing mechanism of some large cranes, the use of ball bronze bushings can improve the precision and stability of slewing.
Roller copper bushing:
Similar to the ball bronze bush, it consists of an outer ring, an inner ring and a roller. Rollers have a greater load carrying capacity than balls and are suitable for heavier loads.
It also requires a higher degree of installation accuracy and is more costly. In some large cranes in the traveling mechanism, the roller copper sleeve can withstand larger axial and radial loads.
Steel backed copper bushing:
Composed of steel back and copper alloy layer. The steel backing provides strength and support, and the copper alloy layer provides good wear resistance and friction reduction performance.
Combines the advantages of steel and copper, with high load carrying capacity and wear resistance. It is suitable for working conditions with heavy loads and high impact loads.
For example, in the hook pulley sets of some large cranes, the steel-backed copper bushings can withstand the frequent lifting and lowering of the hook and the impacts caused by heavy loads.
Bimetallic copper bushing:
Compounded by two different metal materials through a special process, usually copper alloy and other wear-resistant metals. It has excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance and load bearing capacity.
You can choose the right combination of metals according to different working requirements to meet the needs of cranes in a variety of complex working conditions.
For example, in some cranes used in special environments, bimetallic copper bushings can improve the reliability and service life of the equipment.
