What is the typical maintenance interval for crusher thrust bearings?
Author:admin | Release time:2024-10-24

The maintenance intervals of crusher thrust bearings may vary depending on the type of crusher, working intensity, working environment and bearing quality.

Generally speaking, daily inspection can be carried out every day, mainly checking the temperature, noise and vibration of the bearings.

A full maintenance cycle for thrust bearings in a small crusher may be around 1 to 3 months, including checking lubrication, cleaning bearings, checking wear, etc. A medium-sized crusher may be 2 to 4 months old.

Medium-sized crushers may have more comprehensive maintenance once every 2 to 4 months.

Large crushers, due to their high work intensity and importance, may require more detailed inspection and maintenance every 1 to 2 months, with a comprehensive maintenance cycle of 3 to 6 months.

If the crusher works in a harsh environment, such as high temperature, high dust, high humidity, etc., the maintenance period should be shortened appropriately. If high quality bearings are used and the working environment is good and the working intensity is not high, the maintenance cycle can be extended appropriately.
